After three decades at the intersection of purpose and profession — leading large organizations, co-leading an executive recruitment firm, and coaching hundreds of professionals through career transitions — Jim Foster launched Congruent Coaching to give mission-driven leaders the clarity and strategy they need to build careers and lives that truly fit.

For three decades, Jim Foster has lived at the intersection of purpose and profession. He has led multiple large organizations, co-led an executive recruitment firm, and coached hundreds of professionals through career transitions, job searches, leadership placements, and retirement planning.
Jim's coaching is shaped by a deep conviction that we must know ourselves — and live true to ourselves — to find genuine joy and fulfilment in our work. His approach blends rigorous vocational assessment with practical strategy, always grounded in the belief that your work should reflect your calling.
